Young
Eagles
Sponsored by:
Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 96
At the 2010
Wings, Wheels and Rotors Expo in October, youngsters ages 8-17 will have the
opportunity to experience a free flight in a private plane!
Handled by EAA, Chapter 96 out of Compton Airport, long-experienced
pilots will provide young people with an experience often thought being out of
reach for the average youngster. More than 195 young people enjoyed flight in
2009 at WWRE!

Weather
permitting, we will start early and fly all day with the exception of
pre-determined field closure times for other venues.
Safety is the most important factor and we share with these youth the
importance of making good decisions in the cockpit, and their lives.
Depending
upon seating, and desire, some will have the opportunity to actually fly the
aircraft. Each participant will
receive a Young Eagles certificate, suitable for framing, after their flight.
